Welcome, Indianapolis Bride-to-Be! was designed with YOU in mind - and at heart. We've done the heavy-lifting and footwork of Indianapolis wedding research so that you can enjoy your engagement and moments of anticipation leading up to your big day; not stressing the details of the event itself! Search Indianapolis wedding and reception venues, wedding planners, wedding caterers, bridal & tux shops, wedding photographers, wedding cake and dessert creators, invitation designers, DJ's, wedding supply rentals, and other providers who can help make your wedding day visions a reality!

As a photographer, we’re constantly up against time constraints. Some couples choose not to see each other before the wedding (which is fine, and completely up to them) but it does pose some logistical issues and extra time constraints after the wedding that couples rarely consider during their planning process. With our brides, I suggest the 90 minute cocktail reception.

The goal of a reception is not only to celebrate a marriage, but also to thank guests for supporting the union and being apart of the day. This leads to the second goal of a reception: to provide an atmosphere in which the wedding guests are having a great time! In order to do so, we need to understand what guests complain about at wedding receptions. read more...

Today Monica Richard, MBC and Owner of Mon Amie Events, Inc. has her summer interns, Mallori and Mariah give us a glimpse into their world! read more...

This is your time to shine, and if you want to wear your favorite pair of Converse, go for it. It's your wedding and you'll be fly if you want to. read more...

Hello 2Bs! It has been super busy here as we wrap up the planning for a non-profit gala. The theme is a Great Gatsby/1920s’ inspired affair and we decided to go with ostrich feathers for our centerpieces. That got me thinking, there are some really great ideas for non floral centerpieces that you 2Bs would absolutely love. Most 2Bs are a little hesitant when I mention no florals (Basphemous! I know!) but you can still have a fabulous table with chic décor without using a single stem. Take a look at some of these stylish tables! read more...
